Our Process
Alepa Dairy’s smart processing plant contains all operations of milk for making premium quality dairy products.

Grazing
We maintain healthy, well-nourished cows at the farm under hygienic conditions and with best cow care and comfort, monitored 24 X 7 by trained veterinary staff.2

Feeding
Our cows are fed a balanced diet of concentrates, dry and green fodder supplemented by vitamins and minerals to maintain the health of cows.3

Rearing
Cows are free to move around in the shaded farm to ensure cow comfort.4

Milking
Our cows are milked twice a day, with sophisticated milking device that is mechanised to avoid contamination and to provide maximum safety to cows while milking.5

Processing
The milk is instantly chilled at a temperature of <4°C and sent for processing to preserve the freshness and quality.6

Testing
The somatic cell count of raw milk is maintained within 200,000 per ml, indicative of freshness of milk. Milk is analysed, then pasteurised at 75º C for 15 seconds to kill any pathogenic bacteria.7
